On Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 November, the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board held its two inaugural digital engagement events for the people of Edinburgh. The two events focused on the future of health and social care in the Capital, and gave members of the public a chance to ask the board questions in an hour long panel Q&A.
The Board would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined them at the events.
With over 175 attendees across the two events and an array of challenging and insightful questions, the events proved a hit with colleagues, citizens and partners alike! We’ll shortly be publishing answers to some of the questions the panel were unable to answer due to time constraints, so watch this space.
Guests were welcomed by Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership Chief Officer Judith Proctor, who introduced keynote speaker Angus McCann – Chair of the Edinburgh Integration Board.
Alongside hearing real stories of what health and social care means to some of the people in Edinburgh, guests also heard what the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board are doing to gather insight from across the city and build a ‘pact’ with everyone living in the Capital.
Hear what Angus McCann said in his keynote, and learn more about the Edinburgh Pact from Dr Linda Irvine-Fitzpatrick, in our video from the event.
