The care at home service can help with daily tasks such as:
- getting washed and dressed
- preparing meals and eating
- going to the toilet
- remembering to take or taking medication
- getting into and out of bed.
We provide care for people who are over 16. If you contact us to look talk about getting some support, we will have a conversation with you about what living well means to you, and what might help you to achieve that.
As part of our conversation, we may decide that we will provide support to you directly, or we may work with you to find other organisations who can offer you advice and support. The support we offer could be on a short or longer term basis. If it is no longer possible for you to live safely at home, we will discuss care and nursing homes with you.
For advice, or to have a conversation about your needs, please contact Social Care Direct.
