One of our colleagues has been hard at work recreating the Physio@Home team in chocolate form! Self confessed perfectionist Lynne Mark works in Business & Administrative Support for the Physio@Home and Associated Services team. When she’s not in Allermuir Health Centre working her magic on the IT and other systems, she is at home producing amazing crafting creations to share with her team to keep them smiling. The chocolate physios are her latest accomplishment!
Our Physio@Home and Associated Services team works across Edinburgh providing rehabilitation in people’s homes or in clinics for lots of different conditions. Their common purpose is to help people to remain at home or to help get them out of hospital as soon as is safely possible. This is vital work during the COVID-19 outbreak in order to support acute hospitals.
Things are obviously a bit different for them during the COVID-19 outbreak, and they are working quite differently. They are providing remote consultations via telephone and making only essential home visits to keep themselves and the people they care for safe.
