Whilst there are measures in place to keep everyone in Edinburgh safe and healthy during the current pandemic, colleagues at one of our care homes are keeping their spirits lifted thanks to some rousing tunes on the bagpipes from care worker Ruirdhi. When asked what inspired Ruirdhi to play for the care home crowd, he said:

“I’ve been playing the bagpipes since I was five, and thought that hearing some Scottish music would lift the spirits of my colleagues at the home as well as the people I’ve been caring for.”

Everyone who works for and with the Edinburgh Health and Social Care partnership provides high quality, sustainable care but it’s lovely to see care workers going the extra mile to bring some happiness to the people they care for during this difficult time.
