Community Alarm and Telecare charge increase

From 1 April 2024, we will be increasing our charges a small amount for the monitoring and response service.

  • If you have one pendant the new charge will be £6.39 per week.
  • If you have two pendants the new charge will be £8.31 per week.
  • If you have other sensors like smoke, heat or door exit monitors, the enhanced alarm charge will be £9.26 per week.

The community alarms service has not increased prices in over 5 years. If as a result of these increases you can’t afford our service, please call our transactions team on 0131 529 6706. They may be able to help with the cost of the service.
